There,
my people,
my mountains,
my communities
buried beneath
glacier and debris.
Here,
I am far away,
but my heart is not here.
My eyes flood with tears,
my heart with grief,
my mind with Nepal,
with Rasuwa.
God, give my people strength
patience to endure,
courage to face tomorrow,
and hope to rise again.
We Nepali are resilient.
We bend,
but we do not break.
Rasuwa will rise.
Nepal will rise again
stronger than before.
Let us pray for our people,
for their safety,
their strength,
and their hope.
May God protect Rasuwa.
May God protect Nepal.
